WikiEDU is a nonprofit organization that serves to incorporate Wikipedia into education. From August to November 2020, 17 undergraduate volunteers enrolled in the Delftia WikiEDU class. Our goal was to improve the accessibility of Delftia research, improving information equity and catalyzing future research.
Students prepared for Wikipedia editing through virtual lessons and reference collection. The proposed content was peer-reviewed and audited by class instructors and Wikipedia staff prior to publishing.
Class Description: To better inform our projects and use of techniques, we need to review the literature and contribute to it. We want to be a community of scholars finding, verifying, and refining knowledge. To do so, all participants of the class will contribute to the edits to the Delftia pages.
