Meet the researcher, Rabeya Tahir. She is a new addition to the amazing Delftia team. She is helping with the WikiEdu course and trying to produce some graphics. She is focusing on Delftia regarding bioremediation and electronic waste recycling.
Rabeya is from Long Island, New York, but has been living in Charlotte, NC for several years now. She is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and loves exploring new cities and trying new cuisines. She also loves doing little crafts like spray painting and tie-dying sweatshirts.
Her childhood pet is a macaw named metu. She has had him since he was six months old and now he is 12, and feisty as ever. He loves playing peekaboo, high-five, and dancing along to music.
I am excited to continue working on the Delftia Project by focusing on e-waste recycling next semester! I want to continue to create content for the general public and Delftia enthusiasts by conducting interviews, illustrating infographics, posting on the Hub, and publishing a case study.
Meet more Delftia researchers and participants soon!
